This
Sunday evening June 26, 2016 Ann and I left Joe our Amazon Parrot home alone to
listen to his Parrot training videos so he could
catch up on his speech and ediquet lessons while Ann and I met family for food
and conversation.
Joe
has been in the Busby house hold long enough to know the rules of the house and
can be trusted to stay home alone in and on top of his cage without any fear of
his being hurt or hurting anything in the house, but unauthorized folks
entering the house while we are gone would be greeted by a loud Parrot alarm
and a beak bite if they did not leave as fast as they arrived.
After
a fun gathering of family for a meal and conversation we returned home to find
Joe listening to his music, he already completed his speech and ediquet videos
and had even had a snack or two.
We
were greeted with a Hello from Joe and some wing flutters along with several
other fun words and phrases while we all sat about talking and watching a
little television.
When
the time came for Joe to go night night it was obvious he was ready since he
was doing the Parrot yawn and moved back into his cage so he could have his
cloak placed over the cage to keep him safe.
Once
all the good night's were exchanged Joe went night night and Ann and I moved
back to the master suite for some reading and a little television before we
also went night night.
More
fun moments about the life and times of Joe the Amazing Amazon Parrot to follow
as those moments take place.
