Day two of Ann and my fun adventure back into the wonderful
world of bird ownership with Joe the Amazon Parrot. Just realized in previous
notes I have been adding an extra T to the word Parrot, Joe while looking over
my shoulder this morning pointed out he did not use the extra T in spelling
Parrot so I corrected that lapse in my spelling.
This morning I woke to the sunshine and still did not hear
Joe calling to his flock that would be Ann and Me, so I got up, got dressed,
made my way from our master suite to Joe’s cage, took off the cage cover to
find Joe waiting patiently on me to arrive.
Once Joe realized I was there to change his food and water
out he was happy to see me and said HELLO and did his wing dance for me. I
changed out Joe’s water and food for new water and food, Ann makes sure Joe has
only the freshest food and water.
Joe is still a little shy and still getting use to being
with his new flock but all and all is getting settled in and seems to be
enjoying being with us in this new adventure.
Now that Joe has had his breakfast, did some fun exercises
and practiced talking with me, it appears it is time for his early morning nap,
so I am off to the doctor while Joe naps, Ann is still sleeping but will be up
shortly or as soon as Joe decides he needs his flocks company – Smiles.
There will be more fun and excitement on the life and times
of Ann, Joe and Me to follow with more stories and videos and pictures.
