Joe the Amazon Parrot #29

Today Tuesday June 21, 2016 Ann and I slept in till 8:00 AM and did not want to get up, we both have had some painful days and nights, body aches, brain fog, headaches, and just not feeling excited about getting up and facing the day, but we are dealing with all those issues.

Once up it was time to check on Joe who was still snoozing, seems Joe is not a morning parrot and even when I took his cage cover off he just looked at me like I was crazy for even thinking about being up at 8:00 AM and making sure I knew from the look on his face he was not ready to be up.

Took this time to clean Joe’s cage, replace his water and food, clean a perch or two, and of course vacuum under the cage and in the cage, all while Joe just kind of kept one eye open to make sure I did a good job.

During the morning Joe let me know he was ready for his toast so Joe had toast while I had coffee and we discussed parrot cage and parrot training stuff till Joe got tired and took another nap.

I started typing some stories about the life and times of me and Joe decided the typing was bother him and came over to the edge of his cage to see what I was doing and while there decided to help me with my story.

Yes Joe is a real story teller and assist me in making sure my story is as accurate as possible, not sure how he does that, guess he reads minds and lets me know telepathically how to get all my thoughts of the life and times of me on electronic paper.

Ann came in and she and Joe had some fun word learning with a phrase or two tossed in before Joe decided he needed his shower. Joe and Ann moved out to the lanai for Joe’s shower while I left to accomplish some chores that needed to be done.

When I returned from my chore run Joe was finished with his shower and lessons and was on his cage having fun listening to the music channel on the television.

Joe and Ann as well as Me are getting along well together and are enjoying having a pet, Joe I am sure considers us his human pets while we consider Joe our parrot pet, all works out real well – smiles.

Today is day twenty-four since Joe the Amazon Parrot decided to let Ann and I adopt him and allowed us to bring him to the Busby household to live.

More stories of Joe the Amazon Parrot with Ann and Bob Busby will follow as my fingers and mind allow me to type them up and of course with Joe’s approval.
